Duvanco Homes is one of Quinte's most distinguished builders with deep roots in the Belleville community.
When we started our company in 2001, we didn't want to be "just another home builder". Our goal was to develop homes that were lifestyle-oriented with a big-city feel...homes that were built with homeowners' needs in mind for today and for the future...homes that were different from anything else offered in the Quinte market.
We are currently building in three sub-divisions in Belleville including Potters Creek, Settlers Ridge and Harbour Landing. Some past projects include Carriage Lea Estates on Avondale Road Phases 1 through 4, Hearthstone Estates off Mudcat Lane, Oak Ridge Estates in Stirling and many custom homes scattered across Belleville, Quinte West and Prince Edward County. Together, owners Dustin & Julie have helped to shape the landscapes of some of Quinte's most sought after residential areas.
Dustin was born and raised in Belleville, literally growing up in the construction business. He spent his boyhood summers working in the family landscaping company. On the way to creating his own business he traveled the world, gaining valuable experience building new homes in Western Canada, and supervising construction projects in Sydney Australia. His formal training includes civil/environmental engineering technology at Kingston's St. Lawrence College.
Julie brings to the company a wealth of business experience. She has a background in accounting, and is involved in every facet of the company’s daily activities.
In her spare time she likes playing volleyball. She has always enjoyed working directly with clients and offering the best in customer service.
Dustin and Julie live in Belleville and have two sons, Kolby and Carter. Both are busy boys who very much enjoy hockey. The family loves to spend downtime at their cottage together.
The two talents have created a dynamic team, raising the bar on new home building standards in the area. Since 2000 they have constructed some of the area's most distinctive home designs in subdivisions including Settler's Landing in Bayside, Baybreeze in Prince Edward County, Cascade Glen, Carriage Lea Estates and Harbour Landing in Belleville.
Brad was born and raised in Belleville, and had an interest in the building industry at a very young age. At 16 yrs old, he began his life’s passion to be involved in the construction world. Over the span of a couple of years, while working for different industries he quickly found his niche within the residential construction industry. With a few years of onsite residential construction experience under his belt, he went and applied his hands-on knowledge at Loyalist College, graduating the three year program and becoming an Architectural Technologist. Since 2008, Brad has been Duvanco Homes' first in-house architectural designer and he is very proud to say that he loves his job and being part of the Duvanco Homes team. Whether he is working with clients to design their custom dream home or scheduling and organizing onsite trades, he is committed to ensuring quality and excellence remain an integral part of Duvanco's reputation.
Hi, I'm Linda Bridges of Rolston Interior Designs. I have been a part of the Duvanco team from day one. I enjoy helping each and every Client make decisions regarding their new Duvanco Home. Making selections for brick, shingles and window colours can be difficult, not to mention all of the other interior selections such as cabinets, flooring, paint and so much more. Not every builder will provide an interior designer at no extra charge. We urge our clients to take advantage of this service. It is also essential for our Clients to be able to view the Duvanco Model Homes so they can see the superior finishes and designs that are available. I am so fortunate; I get to have all the fun of decorating them.
My husband and I both originate from Belleville but did not cross paths until we were both residing in Calgary. We subsequently married and relocated to Belleville in 1984. We have 2 grown sons who are off doing their own thing so we try and keep busy skiing, biking, canoeing and other outdoor activities. My past experience has been in the property management field. When Julie & Dustin approached me to see if I would be interested in joining the Duvanco Team, I jumped at the opportunity. The transition from property management to customer service was certainly one I have thoroughly enjoyed. Giving our clients the highest level of satisfaction is very important to me. Also being part of the homeowner selection process and making the process as stress free as possible is enjoyable and rewarding. I love the opportunity to work with so many amazing people.
I have been a resident of Belleville since 2001. I graduated my program at Loyalist College in 2008 and was employed by Duvanco in 2009 doing payroll, accounting & administration. On my first day Julie took me for a drive around a few subdivisions, Bay Breeze, Settlers Landing, Hearthstone, Avondale and the Harbor (which was pretty much a vacant lot at the time) and pointed out all of Duvanco's houses. I was very impressed with Duvanco’s design and originality. These were not run-of-the-mill, builder grade homes. They stood out, and after a while I could point out any Duvanco Home. In 2013 I completed training and added Health & Safety Representative to my responsibilities. I enjoy working onsite, ensuring Sub-Trade and Employee Health & Safety compliance and performing site inspections and training. Homes are built safely and workers are protected. I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 14 years working with everyone at Duvanco and am looking forward to the coming years.
